Warren Senyk (Papa Z)
Vocals/Harmonica
Originally from Canada, Warren found himself in the US in the late 80's during a touring stint with his band from Winnipeg Manitoba. He has lived in the Phoenix Valley the last 37 years. He is the front man, lead vocalist and harp player for Scatfish. "I have performed with Bob on and off the past 20 plus years making this version of Scatfish more like a homecoming rather than just playing with another band"!
Their familiarity with each others' musical talents can be heard and felt when they play together; whether it's a soulful ballad, a heartfelt blues tune or an energetic R&B classic."We just fit well together!" he says.
Bob Tencer (The Tone)
Guitar and Vocals
Bob has been playing guitar for most of his life. He is experienced in multiple genres, but his personal favorites are Blues, R&B, and Jazz and has been influenced by many of the greats of those genres.
Bob has the common musicians illness called G.A.S ( Gear Acquisition Syndrome) and as a result, has a multiple collection of various guitars, amps, and other instruments which he will 'mod' when necessary to get the right sound. Hence the nick name, 'The Tone'.
Bob is originally from the Pittsburgh area (loves polish food) but has been a resident of Arizona for over 47 years. He currently resides in Prescott with his lovely wife and their 3 legged Chihuahua.
Jerry Skjonsby
Bass and Vocals
Jerry grew up in one of the coldest cities in the country, Fargo, North Dakota.
He started playing stringed instruments, including the ukulele, in grade school. Jerry started playing guitar at age 12 and by the time he was 13, he was playing upright bass in a full orchestra.
Jerry has played in a number of musicals and rock bands while living in Fargo. ( You Betcha!)
Jerry and his beloved wife has sinced moved to Prescott Valley and continues to use his passion for music as the newest member of Scatfish!
